Maggie Devereux is a Toronto based, award-winning photographer and storyteller. She is know for truly seeing her subjects, and through her masterful use of movement and blur, she captures images that the viewer can truly feel. MOTION, which will be on display in Yorkville Village’s light filled Oval from Feb 23rd to Mar 22nd, is a collection of some of Maggie’s most iconic work, and includes four newly released prints.
Maggie attributes her unique eye to her diverse and non-traditional background, graduating university in mechanical engineering followed by a degree in business and then working in finance for over a decade; all the while with a camera in her hand at any opportunity, capturing the beauty in the world around her. She transitioned seamlessly to a career in photography and is delighted to now be sharing her work in peoples’ homes and spaces.
