The Perfect At Home Self-Care Routine x Radford Studio

As difficult as physical distancing may be, now is the perfect time to focus on a good self-care routine! So we’ve partnered with the team at Radford Studio to curate some at home hair masks and easy (but fabulous) styling tutorials to help you switch things up…

Radford’s signature 24K Gold Hydrogel masks are back in stock & better than ever!

Victoria was particularly interested in testing potential ingredients for their regeneration capacity, which is how we identified Carob seed to boost structural protein production, and “sea moss” to help with balancing the skin. It’s safe, natural, healing and has been used for beauty nutritional and well-being for centuries.

Infused with gold, their 24K Gold Hydrogel Masks instantly cool, soothe and nourish the skin. The highly restorative properties of hydrogel, and it’s advanced ability to adhere securely to the skin, allows the mask to deeply hydrate and lock in moisture.  Hyaluronic acid plumps the skin to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, creating a healthy looking glow. Skin is left refreshed and ready to be seen.

L’Oreal Hair Touch Up: Hair Touch Up is a fast and simple way to cover greys temporarily. It lasts 1 shampoo and blends naturally. You can target the grey re-growth areas with the product’s precision applicator. This temporary hair colour is sweat-proof, water-resistant, and matches hair colour perfectly. Hair Touch Up is available in 7 shades allowing you to perfectly match your hair colour.….

Extensions: A fun, quick way to change up your look.  This style was created using several braided extension pieces that were wrapped and pinned into the hair.

Section the hair in half and use elastics to make two pigtails.  Continue to secure elastics working down through each section and keeping the elastics a few inches apart.  Gently pull the hair between the elastics to create a loose ‘bubble’.  Wrap the individual braided extension pieces around each elastic and secure with bobby pins.  Pull out a few face-framing strands around the front to finish.

Low Messy Bun: Take a break from shampooing your hair with a perfectly undone bun.

Start with unwashed hair (or texture spray) and secure into a low ponytail.  Pull the ponytail through the elastic half-way to create a loop.  Wrap the extra pieces around the base of the bun as loose or tightly as you prefer and secure with bobby pins.  Gently pull the loop to create added loose, messy texture.  For another chic option, braid your ponytail into a classic three-strand braid and wrap the braid around the base of the pony before securing it with bobby pins.
