Everything You Need To Know About This Year’s Icefest Event

This year’s Dreams and Fantasiesthemed Bloor-Yorkville Icefest will be taking place from February 18–19, 2023. Free and open to the public, the annual event will feature a host of beautiful, unique sculptures—inspired by dragons, unicorns, mermaids and more—expertly carved from over 60,000 lbs of ice.

Taking place outside Yorkville Village and throughout Bloor-Yorkville from noon until 11pm each day, the popular winter event will include ice sculptures, ice carving demonstrations, an ice lounge and an ice wall with projections. An Icefest map will be made available, offering guests the opportunity to complete a self-guided tour of this year’s unique creations, and select sculptures will even be lit up for nighttime viewing.

This year, proceeds from the event will be donated to Second Harvest. Icefest attendees will also have the opportunity to donate to the charity, the largest food rescue in Canada.
