Farré by Emmanuel, located at The Fix on the lower level of Yorkville Village, is where you can find French shoe designer Emmanuel Farré’s stunning, handmade and hand-dyed leather goods.
Named one of the city’s best-dressed denizens by Toronto Life in 2015, the stylish Frenchman is best known for his eye-catching footwear designs, meticulously crafted in France and hand-dyed by Emmanuel. In the shop, there are handsome leather monk-strap shoes, tassel loafers, Chelsea boots and more—available in a range of colours and customizable with the designer’s signature patina finish.
In addition to carrying Farré’s namesake footwear line, the Farré by Emmanuel boutique houses a distinctive, unique leather salon. There, expert “cordonnierie” (or shoe repair) and custom patina services are offered for luxury leather and suede shoes, bags, accessories and more.
For footwear, Farré offers full leather, Dainite and colour Vibram resoling, heel repairs, shoe stretching and even a salt stain removal service. For leather goods including handbags, the salon offers refurbishing services as well as opportunities for patina and glaze applications. Past Farré by Emmanuel projects have included hand-painting designer and vintage handbags, resoling Tabi boots and even revitalizing a tired leather jacket.
