The famous Planta Burger plant-based chocolate chip cookie recipe is no longer a secret, and we're sure this is what you'll be baking this long weekend...you can thank us later! Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe by Planta Burger Serves 6 1 cup — white sugar 1 1/2 cup — brown sugar 9 tbsp — olive oil 3/4 cup — shortening 1 cup — water 3 cups — all purpose flour 1 tsp — baking powder 1 1/2 tsp — baking soda 1 pinch — salt 1 cup — dark chocolate chips In a large bowl, beat white sugar, brown sugar, shortening & olive oil (preferably using a Kitchen Aid or hand mixer) Once fully combined (should like white, creamy & fluffy) pour in the water while mixing on low speed Mix on high for 5-minutes In a separate bowl, sift the all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt Gently combine all ingredients into one bowl Once fully combined, fold in the plant-based dark chocolate chips With a large ice cream scoop or spoon, divide the dough into 6 equal portions, and roll into symmetrical spheres Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and place your dough spheres adequately spaced out Want to elevate them even more? Add a sprinkle of Maldon Sea Salt for a little extra kick Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 10-12 minutes Make sure to let them cool Best part, ENJOY!.
