What is the inspiration behind Heidi Ho2?
Heidi: I have always been creative and I started off making jewelry and selling it at craft shows in the summer right here in Yorkville. Eventually I moved into a short term lease concept with the idea of switching up the vendors every month…and that short term lease concept turned into 12+ years!

What is this season’s must-have?
Heidi: This seasons must-have, hands down, is the matching leisure tracksuit. With so many people staying/working at home more, they want to be comfy and still look cute. I’m receiving new styles on a regular basis for my customers to expand that super comfy and stylish wardrobe.

Dare we say it’s been an unprecedented year – what is your biggest takeaway of 2020?
Heidi: Don’t stop. We had to find a new way to connect with customers when the store was closed. We used our downtime to implement a full online store and inventory system. Now we can offer better service in the store and have the addition of the online when customers can’t make it to the store
I found that so many of my existing customers were still there to support me, and send me positive messages. People wanted to help other people and support small businesses they have had a relationship over the years.

Heidi: Move with the times and be open to change!
