At Yorkville Village, the health and safety of our community, customers and tenants is our highest priority.
As Toronto moves into further lockdown restrictions effective April 8, 2021, all non-essential retailers will be temporarily closed for in-store shopping, but will continue to offer delivery and/or curbside pickup services. Participating retailers can be found here.
Guests may access Yorkville Village from 7AM to 9PM so that tenants providing essential services to our community can operate. Whole Foods Market, Rexall and Myodetox will remain open, as well as Food Hall restaurants that provide take-out/delivery meals only.
We understand the growing concern in our community and will continue to make every effort in our enclosed common areas to prevent virus transmission by taking the following actions:
Customer screening signage at mall entrances alerting visitors to not enter if they are experiencing symptoms of, or have been exposed to COVID-19;
Re-enforcing mandatory face covering (mask) signage at mall entrances;
Posting at mall entrances of occupancy limits permitted for the enclosed mall area;
Awareness signage and floor decals to ensure physical distancing is respected in all common areas;
Maintaining cleaning protocols of common area high touchpoint areas, such as entrance doors hardware and customer washroom areas;
Maintaining availability of hand sanitizer units for customers and employees;
Opened stairwell access for visitors wishing to access the shopping centre, without getting into an elevator;
Limited elevator capacity to only 2 individuals per cab;
Flushing shopping centre daily with fresh air;
Continued communication with our tenants and employees advising them of our protocols, policies and recommended practices to keep them safe and prevent virus transmission.
Elevate your everyday with services implemented to provide customers with new safe ways to shop. Consider using our Contactless Pick Up services, or shopping with one of our dedicated Personal Shoppers.
Before you shop, check individual store listings for their COVID related policies and procedures, as well as hours of operation.
We will continue closely monitor information from the Public Health Agency of Canada, as well as local health officials and amend practices as required.
